“The Hutton is warm and inviting. The decor is charming and a lot of the original furnishings remain in place. The cocktails were amazing and a great selection of wines. We were a large group and the service was super friendly and professional. Everyone loved the food! (and I was dining with some foodies:) The Hutton was a true experience! I will definitely be going back!!”

“A group of seven of us had the most wonderful Brunch here last week. The lemon pancakes are incredible. The service and ambiance were great. We had an assortment of dishes, lobster benedict, steak and eggs french toast, Vegi omelets. We also tried the Bloody Mary and other cocktails. We look forward to returning again and also visiting in the Spring to dine in the outdoor courtyard. It is great to have a wonderful place in the Heights for drinks and dining…Best of luck to you!”

“Been twice now and was a great experience both times. A neighborhood spot that is worth the visit. Great shares with friends with the mix of the surprising (bacon popcorn) and classics (grilled octopus, meatballs). Flatbread was delicious.”

“Our service here was great. – Our service here was great. There were four of us and we all were very happy with our dinner and a nice bottle of red wine. 2 of us had the chicken dish and loved it . Tender chicken with great flavors and we thought the barley risotto was amazing. One had the burger and thought it was one of the best around and the 4th person had the salmon and said it was moist and still nice and crispy on the outside. Great addition to the heights!!”

“The cauliflower vegan entree is a work of art and I am not even vegan or vegetarian, bravo! Thanks for adding a brunch and a kid’s menu on weekends, we sampled it this past Sunday and greatly enjoyed every bite!”

“I have been here three times now since it’s opening day and tried three different meals. It’s just the best restaurant around. Honestly, it’s a real five-star restaurant without being in Manhattan. Outstanding! Great food, service, and decor.”

“Dined last evening and we had to pinch ourselves that such a gem is to be found in the Heights — at last! Serving delicious, well seasoned and relatable food with lovely hospitality we would happily pay to have in our neighborhood versus traveling to other ‘hoods or into the city.”

“Much needed addition to the heights of Jersey City.  New owners did a fantastic job of giving the place a renovation while keeping some of the character of the original bar.  Enormous outdoor area with a vibe almost that of a beer garden.  We shared a bunch of plates and the food was fresh and delicious.  Duck pasta was phenomenal.  Great service and great feel will be back.”

“Super excited for this place to open! It does not disappoint! It brings the downtown JC vibe up to the Heights! Great selection of drinks including a wide variety of beers, wines and cocktails. The burger was simply yummy, and I highly recommend the cheese and grape dessert. One thing is certain – I’ve found my new regular place”

“I had met up with an old buddy of mine at The Hutton for dinner. I had the Chopped Brisket & Gnocchi and he had The Hutton Burger. We ordered red wine with our meal.I had the Rodney Strong Pinot  Noir and he the Malbec. Not only were the meals delicious, but the wines were phenomenal and we were pleasantly surprised with how great the quality and vast selections of wines they had to offer. I told our waitress, Jennie that The Hutton had a fantastic selection of wine and it was comparable to some of the Wine bars I frequent in the city and Jersey.”
